webERP MRP+MPS vs. Epicore Prophet 21
Not sure if this is the best or right place for this topic...
From what I have found Prophet 21 with so-called "Manufacturing" module can do some lightweight "manufacturing" in the context of assemblies and kitting. It can do some MRP in the sense it can mange purchasing and procurement and it also has the ability to handle Production Orders, though I am not too sure if it is demand-driven (i.e., dependent) or if it is demand+forecast-driven (i.e., independent).
Does anybody in here have experience with Prophet 21 in the context of MRP+MPS versus webERP? I am curious as t its ability to handle real ETO and MTO scenarios and its abilities to handle and manage MTS subassemblies.
