Use of “/“ in stock code
Hi all, I have a client who is interested in using WebERP but they use a “/“ character to separate fields in their current (semi-smart) part number syntax. Would simply modifying ContainsIllegalCharacters() to allow “/“ likely work? Would this create new issues? (other than allowing potential SQL injection, which I am assuming the filter is for)

Thanks,
Dale

RE: Use of “/“ in stock code
I had some clients who wanted this a few years ago. I seem to remember there was a discussion on the mailing list and Phil wanted to maintain the ContainsIllegalCharaters() function so I just did the changes in our code.

It's not a simple task as it affects multiple areas of the system.

Thanks Tim, I will try to convince the client of a different solution first. ;-)
